What is the working principle of a single acting hydraulic cylinder?
There is only an oil inlet on the rodless chamber side inside the cylinder body, and there is no hydraulic oil input on the piston rod side.
When high-pressure hydraulic oil enters the rodless chamber, the hydraulic pressure acts on the piston end face, generating thrust to push the piston and piston rod outward;
The return stroke of the piston rod does not rely on hydraulic oil, but relies on the self weight of external loads (such as lowering the lifting platform), the elastic force of springs, or other external forces to pull the piston back to its original position.
Typical applications: hydraulic jacks, one-way lifting equipment.
